We discussed all the work that we wanted to be done. The quote was to paint the kitchen Including all the kitchen unit doors. We also wanted the hall,stairs and landing painted, including all woodwork.

I put the job out to tender, there were a number of interested parties, however, The Shires stood out as being the most suitable. When they came to look at the job, they had all the necessary information, tools, paint colour charts, etc.

They knew what they were doing, they understood the effects of colours. How to use them in the different rooms to take advantage of natural light, artificial light, warmth, cool and most important, how to effect the ambiance that I was after in each particular room.

They effected this with precision and great skill. Much time was taken in preperation and cleaning. The correct paint types primers, undercoates, top coats etc, were appliead in text book fashion. They used good quality brands and it shows in the end result. So yes I am very pleased and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is in need of a First Class job.

We have already been scoping out 4 new jobs with The Shires, that is how pleased I am with them.
